What is ecommerce warehousing?
E-commerce warehousing is the storage of inventory in a facility set up to receive, organize and fulfill individual online orders, rather than to hold bulk stock for later distribution. It covers inbound receiving, inventory tracking by SKU and lot, picking, packing, labeling and carrier handoff, so an order placed online is dispatched accurately on the working day it clears cutoff. The distinction is what each is measured on: order accuracy and dispatch speed, versus cost per pallet.
Do you handle FDA-regulated medical products?
Yes. Our warehouse is set up for compliant storage, packaging and shipping of medical devices and supplies, with FDA-cleared packaging processes, GMP-compliant handling and proper documentation. Worth knowing: FDA's Quality Management System Regulation, 21 CFR Part 820, which took effect on February 2, 2026, expressly covers the storage of finished devices — so how a 3PL stores and documents your inventory feeds into your own quality record rather than sitting outside it.
Can you fulfill Amazon FBA orders for my medical supply business?
Absolutely. We support Amazon FBA fulfillment for medical supplies and other product categories. This includes preparing inventory to Amazon's specific labeling and packaging requirements, managing inbound shipments to Amazon fulfillment centers, and ensuring your products meet compliance standards before they leave our facility — so your FBA listings stay in good standing.
Do you offer international shipping for e-commerce orders?
Yes. We handle international shipments by air, ocean and truck freight, including customs documentation, export paperwork for regulated medical products, and carrier coordination to clear customs without delay. Long transit is itself a storage condition: 21 CFR 111.470 requires dietary supplements be distributed under conditions protecting them against contamination and deterioration. We pack for the transit time the lane actually takes.
How do you handle returns and product restoration?
Returned items are received, individually inspected, and tested for functionality. Where products can be restored to a safe and sellable condition — whether medical devices or fitness equipment — we carry out that restoration before returning them to your inventory. This process helps you recover product value and reduce losses from your returns volume.
What packaging options are available for my products?
We offer a full range of custom packaging services, including retail-ready boxes with barcodes, kitting for multi-product orders, tamper-evident seals, and FDA-cleared sterile packaging for medical devices. Packaging is tailored to your product type — whether you're shipping sensitive regulated medical items or durable sports and fitness equipment that needs heavy-duty protective materials.
How can I save on shipping costs through your service?
Our negotiated carrier rates come from direct relationships with the major carriers and are passed through to clients. The structural saving is separate from the discount: domestic ground parcel is priced by zone, the distance band between the origin ZIP code and the destination ZIP code, so the cheapest shipment is the one crossing fewest bands. A central origin narrows the spread of zones a national order book falls into.
What are your warehouse operating hours?
Our warehouse and fulfillment team operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays. For questions or account inquiries outside of operating hours, you can reach us at info@bbmstx.com and our team will follow up promptly on the next business day.
